What You Need To Know: PLZ lets you send messages of any type for any reason, whenever you want, to whatever group of patients you want. Certain "special" messages - those that are tied to specific events, such as Birthday Greetings - can be totally automated. PLZ allows you to easily export a mailing list in a standard file format that you can do your own mail merges with, or send to any vendor who does printing and mailing services.
Examples of messages sent by PLZ users:
- Holiday Greetings: any holiday throughout the year
- Practice promotions: whitening, Invisalign, etc.
- Insurance "use it or lose it" reminder in the fall
- "Reach back" to patients long past due for a hygiene appointment
- Notifications: office has moved or been remodeled; a significant staff change has occurred, etc.
- Back-to-school (children needing a dental exam to enter kindergarten or first grade)
Examples of criteria that can be used to select patients to send to:
- Last visit date
- Last hygiene appointment date
- Is patient scheduled? / When is patient scheduled?
- Age
- Gender
