"PLZ" - A Funny Name for a Very Serious Product
When we decided we were going to create a practice management extension system, we talked a lot about what to call it. We listed the things that we wanted it to do for an office, and the things that would make it attractive to dentists when we told them about it. We came up with three things that we thought would immediately appeal to most people:
- It will make your practice more PROFITABLE
- It will LOWER the stress level of your practice
- It requires ZERO effort to use, because it's totally automated
We tried all kinds of combinations of "profitable", "lower" and "zero", but didn't like any of them. (ProLoZo was about the best we could come up with - you can see why we didn't go that way!)
Then someone noticed that in the oh-so-concise world of text messaging, "plz" is the standard abbreviation for the word "please". "Please" is such a nice word. A word that people like to hear. A word that helps you get what you want. In fact, it's a MAGIC word! (How many times did your mother say, when you wanted something: "What's the magic word?")
Do you want your practice to be more Profitable? Would you like to Lower the stress level in your office? Would you like to have more work completed, but with Zero effort? Well then... "Just Say PLZ!"
